West Bromwich Albion are reportedly preparing a January move for Schalke 04 defender Sead Kolasinac.
The 23-year-old was strongly linked with a move to The Hawthorns in the summer, but it is understood that West Brom were not prepared to pay £10m for a player that will be out of contract at the end of this season.
Liverpool have also previously been credited with an interest, but according to The Mirror, the Baggies lead the race and will return with a fresh bid once the winter transfer window has opened for business.
Left-back Kolasinac, who joined Schalke's youth system in 2011, was born in Germany, but plays his international football for Bosnia and Herzegovina after qualifying through his parents.
