West Bromwich Albion will reportedly make another approach for Leicester City wideman Jeffrey Schlupp when the transfer window reopens for business in January.
The Baggies, who are now under new ownership, failed with multiple bids to lure the 23-year-old to The Hawthorns during the summer months.
According to The Mirror, West Brom boss Tony Pulis has not given up hope of bringing Schlupp to the club in the New Year, buoyed by the fact that the versatile winger has yet to sign a new contract with champions Leicester.
It is claimed that Pulis has received the financial backing to tempt the Ghana international to make the short switch to Albion, with a substantial pay rise and a long-term deal being offered.
Schlupp has started just one league game for City this season, coming in the 3-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge two months ago.
