West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in a deadline-day deal for former Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Stephen Ward.
The 33-year-old spent seven years at the Baggies' Black Country rivals before departing for Burnley in 2014 but has had limited game time for the Clarets this season due to injury.
Ward's current deal at Turf Moor expires this summer, and although the club do have a one-year option, manager Sean Dyche said recently that he had not yet decided whether to take it up.
According to The Sun, West Brom have identified Ward as a defensive option after they missed out on Tyrone Mings, who has signed for Aston Villa.
Ward has just passed 100 Premier League appearances for Burnley and played the full 90 minutes of the side's 5-0 FA Cup defeat to Manchester City at the weekend.
