West Ham United coach Alan Irvine has revealed that Andy Carroll will not play against Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday night.
Carroll has been linked with a move away from the London Stadium since the turn of the year, but Irvine has said that the forward is not fit enough to feature in the FA Cup third-round replay.
A doubt also remains over Javier Hernandez's involvement, with the Mexican said to be unwell and not involved in training ahead of the fixture in England's capital.
Irvine told reporters: "Got some bumps and bruises following the [Huddersfield Town] game. Andy Carroll not fit, Chicharito was sent home unwell. Don't know if he'll be OK."
Diafra Sakho is also on the sidelines, leaving either Michail Antonio, Marko Arnautovic or Toni Martinez to start in attack.
The initial encounter at the home of the League One team ended in a goalless draw.
