West Ham United have revealed that Adrian suffered a dislocated finger prior to kickoff in Saturday's defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League.
The goalkeeper pulled off a string of first-half saves before letting the home side edge ahead just before the break through an Olivier Giroud goal at the Emirates Stadium.
Assistant manager Neil McDonald told the club's website: "Game-plan wise it wasn't too bad in the first half and the response from the players was really good, considering we have got a few important players injured.
"The goalkeeper was also absolutely magnificent, considering he dislocated his finger before the game. He was very brave in playing on and made some important saves."
The 3-0 defeat, in which Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini also scored for the Gunners, leaves the Hammers 10th in the table.
