West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho could be fit for the clash against Tottenham Hotspur after the international break on November 19 following a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The 26-year-old has not featured at all for the Hammers this season because of a back issue, but is closing in on a comeback after returning to training a fortnight ago.
Slaven Bilic's side are yearning for some extra firepower after winning just two of their last nine Premier League fixtures, which has left them 17th in the table.
An update from head of medical and sports science Stijn Vandenbroucke on the club's official website read: "Diafra Sakho has been training with the first-team squad for the past two weeks, and we hope he will be available for selection against Tottenham or the week after."
West Ham have a tough league run after the international break as they face Spurs, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool within three weeks.
