West Ham United defender Aaron Cresswell has admitted that he cannot wait to make his first appearance at the London Stadium ahead of this evening's EFL Cup fourth-round clash against Chelsea.
The 26-year-old spent three months on the treatment able after suffering a knee injury during pre-season in July.
Cresswell made his comeback in the Hammers' 1-0 win over Crystal Palace earlier this month, but was sent off after picking up two yellow cards in the space of one minute.
In an interview with the London Evening Standard, Cresswell said: "I've been waiting for this game for the past three months.
"It will be tough. Chelsea were excellent against Manchester United on Sunday but, from my point of view, to finally step across that white line and onto the London Stadium pitch will be fantastic.
"Since I started as a 17-year-old at Tranmere, I hadn't experienced a setback like this but it has made me a stronger player."
West Ham, who currently sit 15th in the Premier League table, will be vying for a spot in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup.
