Besiktas striker Demba Ba has expressed his belief that Slaven Bilic would be a good choice to succeed Sam Allardyce as West Ham United manager.
Bilic, who has confirmed that he will leave Besiktas this summer, has been linked with the role at Upton Park following Allardyce's exit on Sunday.
Former Hammers striker Ba, who worked with Bilic at Besiktas this term, says that the Croatian has what it takes to be successful.
"He is full of motivation and very close to the players and it helped, especially us in Besiktas," Ba told The Mirror. "We have a young team and he helps a lot. He is a good guy. He would be a good choice.
"He has that German mentality and in football that German mentality helps a lot because they are very disciplined and do things right in football and I think he does that.
"If he comes here I think and I hope he is going to be successful."
Bilic made 55 appearances for West Ham between January 1996 and May 1997.
