West Ham United defender Carl Jenkinson has admitted that he was left "absolutely gutted" by Sunday's 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
The Hammers were seconds away from beating the Red Devils at Upton Park, but a late goal from Daley Blind earned United a share of the spoils.
Jenkinson believes that West Ham deserved to win the game thanks to their dominant performance.
"To be honest I am absolutely gutted," he told the club's official website. "It is always tough in football when you deserve to win a game and you don't.
"We worked so hard out there to get in the position we did. We had so many chances, it was a game we should have won with ease and it is just absolutely gutting to concede like that."
West Ham continue their Premier League campaign tonight when they travel to high-flying Southampton.
