West Ham United defender Dan Potts has returned home after spending the night in hospital.
The 18-year-old was taken to hospital after he suffered a head injury during yesterday's 3-0 pre-season friendly win over Southend United.
However, having received treatment for mild concussion, Potts has thanked those that offered him their best wishes.
"Was discharged from hospital earlier this morning," he wrote on Twitter. "Scan and results were all OK just suffered mild concussion. Thnx again 4 all the support!"
Potts is the son of former West Ham captain Steve.
