Manager Sam Allardyce has said that West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian deserves to be considered among the Premier League's finest.
The Spaniard grabbed the headlines after saving Charlie Austin's spot-kick in Saturday's 0-0 draw away to Queens Park Rangers - his third successive penalty save.
"He's proving to be one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League on a consistent basis," the Hammers boss is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"That's three penalty saves on the trot now. He's been an outstanding find from our point of view. It will spread fear across the league because everyone will know he's saved three on the trot so people will be even more nervous.
"Your goalkeeper is the second most important member of your team after your goalscorer and he's shown that today by winning us a point."
The Irons, who sit 10th in the Premier League table, have picked up just two wins in 2015.
