West Ham United winger Pablo Barrera is reportedly on the verge of sealing a move back to Mexico.
The 25-year-old only joined the Hammers in 2010, but was loaned out to Real Zaragoza last season after failing to impress in his handful of appearances.
According to talkSPORT, Cruz Azul have now confirmed that they are closing in on a deal for the Mexico international.
Barrera, who has 49 caps for his country, scored two goals in a 4-2 win over the USA in the final of last year's Gold Cup.
