An unnamed Chinese club have reportedly decided to make an improved approach for West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic.
The player's brother and agent revealed earlier this month that a lucrative offer had been made for the 29-year-old, although West Ham quickly reacted to state that the player was not for sale.
However, according to talkSPORT, the Hammers are likely to receive a bid in the region of £40m at some point before the end of the January window.
Arnautovic is said to be keen to make the switch to Asia, although it is unclear whether West Ham will be tempted into a sale given the attacker's contribution in the final third.
Seven goals and two assists have come from 16 starts in the Premier League during the current campaign, a return which has helped West Ham move into ninth position and contention for a place in next season's Europa League.
