Fulham are reportedly lining up an audacious bid to sign England starlet Ravel Morrison in the January transfer window.
The former Manchester United youth product has been one of the season's stars for West Ham United so far, and has caught the eye of many onlookers.
While they remain in a relegation battle against the Hammers, Fulham are believed to be preparing to contact West Ham about the possibility of signing Morrison, according to The Telegraph, but are thought to be realistic about their chances of landing the player.
Morrison only has 18 months remaining on his current deal at Upton Park, which contains numerous clauses, including a straight £18m release fee. Another states that West Ham would have to quadruple the midfielder's wages to £60,000 a week if they receive a £10m bid and want to keep him.
It is understood that while Sam Allardyce remains eager for Morrison to stay at the London club, West Ham would reluctantly sell the 20-year-old for the right price.
The two sides meet at Craven Cottage on New Year's Day.
