West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has revealed that the club are in talks with Carlton Cole about extending his contract.
The 30-year-old striker initially left the Hammers at the end of last season, but he returned to Upton Park in October, signing a three-month deal.
When asked about Cole's contract situation, Allardyce told talkSPORT: "Yeah, we've got that in mind.
"We're talking about [the contract] as quickly as we possibly can because obviously it needs to be addressed."
Cole has scored three goals in 12 appearances this season.
