West Ham United have reportedly offered Declan Rice wages of £15,000 a week to sign a new long-term contract at the London Stadium.
The Hammers are keen to tie down the 19-year-old beyond the end of his current deal in 2020 following his good recent form.
A new contract is said to have been tabled, but The Mirror suggests that the former Chelsea youth product may hold out for more, with the £15k sum a quarter of what some of his teammates are paid.
Versatile defender Rice, who joined United from Chelsea at the age of 15, is currently on £3,000 a week in East London.
Rival clubs are rumoured to have showed an interest in the three-cap Republic of Ireland international, although West Ham also have the option to extend his existing deal by a further 12 months.
