Fiorentina have reportedly moved to the brink of securing a loan deal for West Ham United midfielder Edimilson Fernandes.
The Italian outfit have just allowed Carlos Sanchez to make the switch to the London Stadium, and it appears that resulted in negotiations taking place regarding Fernandes.
According to Firenzeviola.it, the two clubs are close to coming to an agreement over a season-long loan deal with an option to buy next summer.
The report claims that Fiorentina are willing to pay €1m (£890,000) this month, with West Ham receiving a further €8m (£7.16m) should a permanent deal go through at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has spent the last two season at West Ham, with 17 starts and 25 substitute appearances coming in the Premier League.
