Stoke City midfielder Joe Allen has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for West Ham United.
In recent weeks, Hammers boss David Moyes has been linked with offers for a number of different central midfielders, including Sporting Lisbon's William Carvalho and Bournemouth's Harry Arter.
However, according to The Mirror, Moyes has also identified Wales international Allen as a possible incoming during the January transfer window.
In his 18 months at the bet365 Stadium, Allen has established himself as a first-team regular with seven goals in 55 Premier League appearances.
Stoke also have Allen tied down to 2021, meaning that West Ham are likely to have to pay over the odds to tempt Stoke boss Mark Hughes into a sale to a direct rival.
West Ham currently sit in 17th place in the standings, just two points adrift of Stoke.
