West Ham United defender James Collins believes that his club teammate Andy Carroll should be in the England squad for the 2014 World Cup.
The striker has struggled with injury this season and was left out of Roy Hodgson's squad for the friendly against Denmark.
However, Collins says that the Three Lions need Carroll's qualities when they travel to Brazil this summer.
"He is a different option to what they have – he's a handful and if he's playing like he did at the end of last season he would be a massive hit for England," Collins told The Express.
"I think he should go. He's got such a presence about him, even in the tunnel before the game you look at him and know you're in for a tough game. He has that effect on people."
Carroll has scored twice for England in nine caps.
