Wigan Athletic are waiting on the fitness of Mohamed Diame and Hugo Rodallega ahead of Saturday's match against Stoke City.
Diame is currently suffering with a groin injury, while Rodallega is doubtful for the match at the DW Stadium with an ankle problem.
"Momo suffered a little tear to his groin in training last Thursday, but we're hoping that it's not too serious," manager Roberto Martinez told the Wigan Evening Post.
"But I would say it will be difficult for Hugo to be fit for the game against Stoke.
"We have tried a few different treatments with the medical people to try to bring forward his recovery time, but we have to be sure we are not pushing him too much and risking being without him for a much longer period of time."
The Latics can move out of the relegation zone with a win against the Potters.
