Championship side Brentford have reportedly turned down a six-figure bid from Wigan Athletic for striker Will Grigg.
Grigg, 24, has not played for Brentford since the 2013-14 season, spending last term on loan at MK Dons and helping them gain automatic promotion to the Championship.
His 22 goals in 50 appearances have reportedly alerted newly-relegated Wigan, who appear to want Grigg to lead their line in the third tier next season.
According to GetWestLondon, Wigan's bid of around £700,000 is not far off the Bees' valuation, but still short of what they want.
Grigg's contract at Brentford expires next summer.
