Wigan Athletic will reportedly face stiff competition to sign Tours striker Andy Delort in the closing days of the transfer window.
The Latics have been in advanced negotiations with the French club over 22-year-old Delort, but Tours have now revealed that another British club has made a higher bid for the forward.
"Discussions are also underway with several other clubs [aside from Wigan]," a statement on Tours' website said.
"A better offer has been made by another British club, which included a very intriguing link-up with the Tours FC training centre."
Delort, who scored 24 goals in 36 Ligue 2 appearances last season, has also been tracked by Charlton Athletic this summer.
