Wolverhampton Wanderers and Coventry City have played out a goalless first half at Molineux in League One.
Wolves went close in the opening exchanges as Kevin Doyle rose to meet a ball at the back post, but the striker could not head home under pressure.
City nearly took the lead several minutes later as Callum Wilson broke in behind the Wolves defence, but he could not latch onto the through-ball as the home side's defence swept up to regain possession.
The visitors wasted another good opportunity late on in the first half as they were awarded a dangerous free kick from 25 yards out, but the ball was sent straight into the wall as the sides went in level at half time.
