Terry Connor is adamant that he does not need any help during his interim spell in charge of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
It is believed that chief executive Jez Moxey offered Connor the opportunity of appointing an experienced assistant due to it being his first managerial role.
However, Connor is confident that he has enough ability to help guide Wolves to Premier League safety.
"I was aware of [the opportunity to bring someone else in] before and I think Jez has only reiterated what was said," Connor told the Express and Star.
"It's not something I want to do at the moment. I'm sure people do want the job."
Wolves have yet to record a victory under Connor's stewardship.
