Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder David Davis is expected to miss the two remaining games of the Premier League season.
The 21-year-old is suffering with an eye injury that he sustained in training prior to Saturday's 4-4 draw at Swansea City.
"I think [a ball] caught him on the retina," said interim manager Terry Connor.
"If it hasn't cleared after two weeks they'll ask him to rest it some more."
Davis recently agreed a new contract at Molineux.
