Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett reveals that he was satisfied with his side earning a point against Burnley.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has admitted that his side lacked a cutting edge in the final third against Burnley.

The Championship fixture at Molineux ended in a goalless draw - the second time in four days that Wolves have failed to score in a league match - but Jackett has revealed that he was pleased with his team's overall display against one of the form teams in the division.

The 53-year-old told Wolves Player: "I thought that we started quite nervously and they had their best chance at the start, but after that, we grew into the game and grew in confidence, passed the ball well and got it into the box, unfortunately without a cutting edge.

"Burnley are a difficult side to score against. I thought that their centre-backs were excellent around their penalty spot, and headed a lot of balls out of the box.

"Up to a certain point, our performance was very good, and I thought that we passed the ball very well."

Wolves sit in 14th position in the Championship table heading into the international break.
