Midfielder Jed Wallace has been ruled out of Wolverhampton Wanderers' friendly with Shrewsbury Town with a knee problem.
Wallace, a summer signing from Portsmouth, is yet to feature in pre-season, and head coach Kenny Jackett has admitted that it has been a frustrating time for both himself and the player.
The 53-year-old is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "He's played very little football because of this knee injury but, as long as he does clear it up, he has a long time ahead in his Wolves career.
"I'm sure it's been a frustrating pre-season for him, as it has with us for him."
Wallace scored 17 goals in 50 appearances for Pompey last season to earn his move to Molineux.
