Mick McCarthy has described this weekend's clash with Wigan as "the best opportunity" for his Wolves side to seal a much-needed win.
The Midlands club currently sit 17th in the table on eight points, having taken just one point from their last six games.
"If we win on Sunday and turn it around we'll be on 11 points going into Everton away and Chelsea away," he told the official Wolves website. "We need to win a game. And Sunday is our next opportunity. We just need that feeling of winning games because we haven't had it for a while."
McCarthy added that he continues to have the backing of chairman Steve Morgan and chief exec Jez Moxey.
"And the support I have from Steve and Jez and everybody has always been at its strongest when it has been tough. Whenever it has been tough I have had great support."
Roberto Martinez's Wigan currently sit bottom of the table and have now lost eight league games on the bounce.
Kickoff at Molineux is 1.30pm on Sunday.
