Wolves lineup vs. Brighton: Predicted XI for Premier League clash

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Wolverhampton Wanderers could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Gary O'Neil might have a goalkeeping dilemma to solve for Saturday's Premier League fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.

The 20th-placed visitors were left crestfallen by a late John Stones goal in last weekend's 2-1 loss to Manchester City, which left them bottom of the standings and still winless after eight matches this term.

Stones's winner was given despite Bernardo Silva briefly impeding Jose Sa, who started thanks to Sam Johnstone's adductor injury and excelled with several top saves to keep Pep Guardiola's men at bay.

Johnstone might be back in contention for the weekend's fixture, but Sa has done more than enough to keep his place in between the sticks, and O'Neil - who said at his press conference that he was "really clear" on who would start in goal - could very well go with an unchanged XI from the loss to Man City.

The Wolves manager opted for a more defensive formation against the champions, which very nearly worked a treat, so Santiago Bueno, Craig Dawson and Toti could all start in the middle once again as Nelson Semedo and Rayan Ait-Nouri take up wing-back duties.

Andre was taken off at half time in the defeat to the champions, a decision that O'Neil confirmed was tactical due to the Brazilian struggling to get into his usual rhythm, but Saturday's game should be more his speed.

The midfield three of Andre, Joao Gomes and Mario Lemina should therefore remain untouched, while Jorgen Strand Larsen and Matheus Cunha are indispensable in the Wolves attack.

Hwang Hee-chan (ankle), Sasa Kalajdzic, Enso Gonzalez, Yerson Mosquera and Boubacar Traore (all knee) will all sit this one out through injury for the visitors.

Wolverhampton Wanderers possible starting lineup:
Sa; Toti, Bueno, Dawson; Semedo, Gomes, Andre, Lemina, Ait-Nouri; Larsen, Cunha
