Wolverhampton Wanderers duo Jake Cassidy and Liam McAlinden have been shipped out on loan until the end of the season.
Wales Under-21s international striker Cassidy, who has only recently returned from a spell at Notts County, will spend the remainder of the campaign at Southend United.
Having made 14 appearances for Wolves last term, the 21-year-old has yet to feature in the Championship under Kenny Jackett.
Meanwhile, McAlinden will return to Fleetwood Town where he will be looking to build on the two goals he scored in his short stint at Highbury Stadium back in October.
Commenting on the youngster's move, Jackett told the club's official website: "It's a good situation for everybody concerned. Liam's fringed the first team without necessarily getting the type of first team games that we thing he needs to develop.
"With Benik Afobe coming in it helps us to release that extra forward. We think now, in the second half of the season, going down into League 1 Liam will do very well and will score goals for Fleetwood."
Afobe joined Wolves on an undisclosed fee from Arsenal earlier this week.
