Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly on the brink of confirming the signing of Porto forward Fabio Silva.
Despite just nine days remaining until their Premier League opener with Sheffield United, Wolves have failed to make a single first-team addition.
However, according to Record, the West Midlands outfit are preparing to announce a club-record £35m deal for Portuguese teenager Silva.
While the 18-year-old has only contributed three goals and two assists from his 21 outings in the senior ranks, he is regarded as one of the top prospects in world football.
The report claims that Silva, who will provide backup to Raul Jimenez, has agreed to pen a five-year contract at Molineux.
Liverpool and Juventus are among the clubs who have been linked with the player over the past 12 months.
