Guillermo Ochoa has insisted that Mexico are not nervous about facing hosts Brazil next week.
El Tricolor got their World Cup campaign off to a winning start on Friday evening courtesy of Oribe Peralta's 61st-minute goal against Cameroon.
Next up for Mexico in Group A is Brazil in Fortaleza on Tuesday night.
"We're not nervous about it at all," Ochoa told FIFA.com. "In fact, getting a start like this has calmed our nerves. The team's only going to get stronger and we're on the up and up. So we'll be going into the game in a happy frame of mind and ready for the challenge."
Of the 1-0 victory against Cameroon, the goalkeeper added: "Our opponents made it a tough game and the conditions made it even harder. When you get rain like that it makes life difficult for goalkeepers, but I'm happy with the result."
Ochoa is currently without a club after leaving Italian side Ajaccio at the end of last season.
