Wycombe Wanderers have beaten bottom-of-the-table Hartlepool United 1-0, pushing Wanderers to the top of League Two.
Fred Onyedinma scored the game's only goal in the first half, as the 18-year-old showed a burst of pace and power to split the Hartlepool defence open and finish past the helpless Scott Flinders.
The relegation strugglers reacted well to the goal and pushed for an equaliser in the second half but were unable to beat Matt Ingram in the Wycombe goal.
Hartlepool hit the post in the last five minutes as a corner was met by Rakish Bingham, but the striker could only find the woodwork.
Hartlepool's substitute Lewis Hawkins picked up two yellow cards in the space of four minutes to complete the misery for the North-East side.
The result sees Wycombe go to the top of the table after Shrewsbury Town were beaten by Burton Albion.
