It is goalless between Yeovil Town and Wigan Athletic after 45 minutes of their Championship clash this afternoon.
The home side started strongly and came close to scoring when Joe Edwards saw his strike blocked by Ryan Shotton.
Yeovil came close again when Madden fired a free kick into the wall, and from the rebound Joe Edwards forced Nicholls to tip away his powerful drive.
The hosts were dominating the proceedings and Madden should have done better when he was played through, but he put his strike wide of the post.
After being under pressure for most of the half, Wigan came close to taking the lead on the stroke of half time.
Connor McManaman weaved his way past two defenders, before seeing his left-footed drive cleared off the line.
