Paddy Madden's late equaliser rescued a point for Scunthorpe United in their League One clash with Yeovil Town this afternoon.
A great interchange between Scunthorpe's Marcus Williams and Jennison Myrie-Williams on the left saw both players break through early on.
A low cross from Myrie-Williams, however, was easily gathered by Yeovil keeper Chris Weale.
A ball over the top from was then pounced on by AJ Leitch-Smith, but his shot was palmed away for a corner.
Just before the break, Madden set his sights on the target from 25 yards and hit the stanchion of the goal with a rasping effort.
Following the restart, Weale parried Lyle Taylor's header into the path of Madden, but he could only nod the ball back into the keeper's grateful arms.
Substitute Kieffer Moore was the one to eventually break the deadlock, firing home from close range to put Yeovil into the lead.
Scunthorpe equalised through Madden, who was played in with a nice ball from Gary McSheffrey and the striker did the rest, stabbing past Weale to see that the game ended 1-1.
