Zenit St Petersburg have appointed Sergei Semak as the club's new manager.
Earlier this month, Roberto Mancini left his role with Zenit to become the new boss of Italy but the Russian giants have already moved to secure a replacement.
This season, Semak guided FC Ufa to a sixth-placed finish in the top flight but the 42-year-old has now agreed to return to familiar surroundings.
Semak spent the final three years of his playing career with Zenit before then spending three years on the backroom staff at the Krestovsky Stadium.
The former midfielder also acted as the assistant manager with Russia between 2014 and 2016.
