Charles Leclerc could find himself in hot water with the FIA for using foul language during the post-race press conference after the Mexican Grand Prix.

The Ferrari driver accidentally dropped an F-bomb while recounting a moment of oversteer during the race.

"I had oversteer, and then when I recovered from that oversteer, I had oversteer from the other side and then I was like 'f*ck!'" Leclerc admitted during the press conference.

Immediately realizing his mistake, Leclerc quickly apologized, saying, "Oh sorry. I don't want to join Max!"

This incident mirrors a similar situation in Singapore when Max Verstappen described his car as "f*cked," which led to the Dutch driver receiving a day of community service from the FIA as part of a new crackdown on foul language in the sport.

Given Verstappen's penalty, there is now speculation that Leclerc could face a similar consequence for his slip-up in Mexico.

Meanwhile, the Grand Prix Drivers' Association (GPDA) is reportedly seeking discussions with the FIA, not only regarding the recent swearing incidents but also for clarity on the driving guidelines after the contentious wheel-to-wheel clashes between Verstappen and Lando Norris.

"There's a lot going on at the moment, especially with the swearing situation," said GPDA director George Russell.
