Jenson Button could join the new Renault team next season, according to reports.
The McLaren driver has hinted at a possible departure and has also been linked with a move away from Formula 1.
Renault signalled their intentions to buy struggling team Lotus earlier today and could offer Button a way out of McLaren.
Button has picked up just six Championship points this season, with McLaren sitting ninth in the constructors' championship table.
