Lewis Hamilton has sent out a warning to teammate and championship rival Nico Rosberg that he is "gunning for top spot" at this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix.
The Briton leads the drivers' standings after finishing sixth in Hungary, and the Mercedes driver is confident that he can return to his best after a enjoying a mid-season break.
He told reporters: "Spa is a great track to kick off the second part of the season. It's one of the really great, old-school circuits with so much history.
"I love this track and I'll be gunning for that top spot again. It's been good to take a break from racing and spend some time recharging the batteries.
"But, of course, there's always that flame in the back of your mind that just wants to get back out there and get on it - especially after a race like Hungary."
Mercedes lead the constructors' championship by 147 points from Ferrari.
