Nico Rosberg has admitted that he needs to start winning races again if he is to reignite his Formula 1 Championship challenge.
The German has been second to Mercedes teammate and title rival Lewis Hamilton in three of the last four races and has fallen 17 points behind the Briton in the standings.
He acknowledges that merely finishing on the podium is not good enough anymore with only three races of the year remaining, but maintains hope of overhauling Hamilton due to the double points that are on offer at the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
"Yes for sure I love it," laughed Rosberg when asked by Sky Sports News if he was now a fan of the controversial rule.
"I just know I need to go out and win races now and see how it goes."
Rosberg has not won a race since securing victory in front of his home fans at Hockenheim in July.
