Lewis Hamilton has said that he has been "really enjoying" learning the new track in Sochi ahead of this weekend's inaugural Russian Grand Prix.
The Mercedes driver was the fastest in the second practice session on the new circuit, which surrounds the facilities that hosted the Winter Olympics earlier this year.
The Briton told Sky Sports News: "It's been good, I generally feel comfortable on new circuits and learning them, the car has been feeling really good.
"The track was rubbering in and getting grippier and grippier. There's a nice flow you can get on this track, I'm really enjoying it."
Hamilton currently leads the drivers championship by 10 points.
