Formula 1's governing body has announced that refuelling will be reintroduced to the sport in 2017 in a bid to make races more exciting.
The FIA revealed that allowing teams to pick their own fuel strategy to will be among a number of changes, along with louder engines and a free choice of tyre compounds from next year, aimed at making cars five to six seconds faster per lap at some circuits.
There will still be a limit on the amount of fuel that can be used during a race as well as restrictions on the flow rate, while engine rules will also remain unchanged.
Refuelling has not been allowed since the end of the 2009 season.
