Bruno Senna has been signed to drive for Williams in the upcoming 2012 season.
The 28-year-old has joined the team for which his uncle Aryton Senna was competing when he was killed in a crash in San Marino in 1994.
He has been chosen ahead of fellow Brazilian Rubens Barrichello and will partner Venezuelan Pastor Maldonado.
Bruno had a handful of races for Renault towards the end of the 2011 season, while he was also part of the HRT team during the 2010 campaign.
