Jamie Donaldson has admitted that there is "nothing quite like the Ryder Cup" after he secured the trophy for Team Europe this afternoon.
The Welshman took on Keegan Bradley in the singles at Gleneagles and managed to overcome the American 4&3.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, the 38-year-old said: "This is pretty damn special. It's hard to put it into words. There's nothing quite like the Ryder Cup. I've played all over the world and quite a few majors and this is the pinnacle of it all."
The victory was the 10th for Europe and their eighth in the last 10 tournaments.
