Guan Tianlang has insisted that he will not place too much pressure on himself at this week's Masters.

When the 14-year-old from China steps onto the course in Augusta on Thursday, he will become the youngest ever player to compete at the event.

However, despite all the publicity that has surrounded his appearance, Guan has revealed that his only intention is to enjoy the experience.

"I'm really excited in the morning when I come out on the course and there's many people here and I'm really looking forward to the tournament," he told reporters. "I'm not going to push myself too hard and I'm going to enjoy my game. Hopefully I can play well."

Guan will practise alongside the likes of Tiger Woods, Tom Watson and Ben Crenshaw over the coming days.
