Ernie Els believes that Tiger Woods's resurgent performance at the Honda Classic has signalled the former world number one's return to form.
The 14-time Major champion shot a closing round 62 at Palm Beach in Florida, which saw him come to within two shots of victory.
A highlight of Woods' round was a stunning iron shot to set up an eventual eagle at the last hole, having already birdied the 17th.
"To me, it was the old Tiger back, the guy that I remember," said Els, who partnered the American. "He never missed a shot or made a bad swing."
Woods is due to compete at the WGC Cadillac Championship at Doral in Miami next week.
