Thongchai Jaidee won in Europe for the second time in his career this afternoon by triumphing at the first extra hole in a three-way playoff with Victor Dubuisson and Stephen Gallacher at the Nordea Masters in Malmo, Sweden.
The 44-year-old's final round of 65 was one of the best in the field and saw him climb to 16-under-par for the tournament, alongside Frenchman Dubuisson (67) and Scotland's Gallacher (68).
The trio went back down the par-five 18th and Jaidee's birdie was enough for victory as Dubuisson and Gallacher could only manage pars after wayward drives.
It is almost exactly two years to the day since Jaidee's last victory on the European Tour at the Wales Open.
Overnight leaders Henrik Stenson and Eddie Pepperell could only manage scores of 71 and 72 to finish two and three shots adrift respectively.
Dutchman Robert-Jan Derksen finished third on his own with a final score of 15-under after also shooting 65.
