Patrick Reed has paid tribute to his USA fourball partner Jordan Spieth.
The Ryder Cup rookies took on an experienced European pairing in Thomas Bjorn and Martin Kaymer this morning, but it was the Americans that won through 5&3.
When asked what it was like to play alongside 21-year-old Spieth, Reed admitted that it was "pretty easy".
"I enjoy it a lot. It's pretty easy when a guy hits so many fairways, hits so many greens and makes his putts," Reed told Sky Sports News.
It is anticipated that skipper Tom Watson will keep the duo together for this afternoon's foursomes, having received criticism for leaving them out yesterday.
