Sports Mole grabs a quick chat with Team England gymnast Ruby Harrold after she wins all-round silver at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

England gymnast Ruby Harrold has admitted that she is struggling to find the words to describe how it feels to win a silver medal in the women's all-round final at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The 18-year-old, who came in second place after scoring 55.232 following her performances on floor, vault, uneven bars and beam, joined her England teammates Claudia Fragaplane and Hannah Whelan on the podium, who clinched gold and bronze respectively.

Prior to tonight's success, the trio, along with Becky Downie and Kelly Simm, beat Australia to win gold in yesterday's team final.

Moments after Harrold collected her silver medal, Sports Mole grabbed a quick chat with the gymnast.

Congratulations! It was such a dramatic ending, can you describe your emotions in the moment?

"I can't even put it into words. Claudia - we knew she had it in the bag from the start. We just knew that if she produced a solid last routine, she could have done it. To see my name up there in first and then to see Hannah's in second before Claudia went on - it was just amazing to know that we'd secured a medal and that Claudia could win it. To share it with these girls is amazing."

Does it make it that much more special after winning team gold yesterday?

"Definitely! We were on such a high and then we've been able to come down and come back to earth, and compete in the routines that we know for today, but yeah, it's definitely been a good few days!"

You mentioned you had to re-focus. Was that hard to do after yesterday's success?

"Not really. We're used to it - doing two days in a row, but last night we were definitely buzzing."

You've got apparatus finals in the last two days. What are you hoping to achieve from that?

"I've got bars final tomorrow. Hopefully I can hit my bar routine and do all my connections and be pleased with the score."

Meanwhile, England's Max Whitlock won gold in the men's all-round final earlier today, with Scotland's Dan Keatings winning silver and 18-year-old Nile Wilson scooping bronze for England.
