Sports Mole

Paris Saint-Germain Women will play host to BK Hacken Women in Thursday's second leg of their Women's Champions League quarter-final tie.

The French side currently have a slender advantage after they edged out Hacken to claim a 2-1 victory in last week's trip to Sweden.

Match preview

PSG are well placed to reach the semi-finals for the fourth time in five seasons after enjoying a successful outing in the first leg against Hacken.

Eva Gaetino opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, before Rosa Kafaji restored parity in the closing stages of the first half.

Tabitha Chawinga ultimately proved to be PSG's match-winner, finding the net in the 74th minute to secure a precious victory.

The 27-year-old forward continued her fine form in Monday's league meeting with Montpellier, scoring in a sixth consecutive match to help PSG clinch a 3-1 win and extend their unbeaten run to 21 competitive matches.

After enjoying playing back-to-back away games, Jocelyn Precheur's side will now return to home surroundings, where they will have the chance to record an 11th consecutive home victory in all competitions.

Hacken are competing in the quarter-finals for the first time in 11 years after previously appearing in the last-eight stage as Goteborg in 2011-12 and 2012-13.

The Swedish side picked up 11 points from their six group matches to finish behind Chelsea and above Paris FC and Real Madrid.

After failing to make the most of home advantage last week, Hacken now have their work cut out if they are to reach the semi-finals for the first time in their history.

They can at least take confidence from the fact that they won two of their three away group games, including a 2-1 victory in the French capital against Paris FC.

Hacken will travel to France in a positive mood after they thrashed Kristianstad 7-2 at the weekend to top their Swedish Cup group with a 100% record.

Team News

PSG midfielder Jackie Groenen is expected to miss out after picking up an injury in the first-leg win over Hacken.

Groenen's Netherlands teammate Lieke Martens is also ruled out after she was forced off within seven minutes of being introduced as a substitute in Monday's league fixture.

Clare Hunt missed the win over Montpellier due to a foot injury, and the defender remains unavailable for Thursday's contest.

The hosts are also unable to call upon defender Paulina Dudek and midfielder Oriane Jean-Francois, while Thiniba Samoura will be absent due to suspension.

As for the Swedish visitors, they are expected to be without the services of Alexandra Larsson, Aisha Masaka and Stine Larsen.

Anna Anvegard will serve a one-match suspension after picking up her third yellow card of the main draw during the first leg.

Kafaji will continue to offer one of Hacken's main goal threats, having scored three times in her last four appearances for the club.

Paris Saint-Germain Women possible starting lineup:
Kiedrzynek; Le Guilly, De Almeida, Gaetino; Vangsgaard, Albert, Fazer, Geyoro, Karchaoui; Katoto, Chawinga

BK Hacken Women possible starting lineup:
Falk; Wijk, Rybrink, Lowing, Luik, Wijk; Curmark, Sorensen; Schroder, Kafaji, Jusu Bah, Larisey

We say: Paris Saint-Germain Women 3-1 BK Hacken Women

PSG will be bracing themselves for another tricky test, but after winning each of their last 10 home games, we think that the hosts will build upon their first-leg performance by claiming a victory in Thursday's return fixture.
